  1. Dear Graham,

    To me, the strategic direction chosen is the only effective one in the longer run, given the prospects of having a peaceful, friendly and animosity-free South Caucasus. One day we will have such a region. All of us have to work toward this kind of a future.

    But in this context I have a question to you: does Nagorno Karabakh fit into this new setup? Will the Caucasus National Director try to find a solution for the children living in NK? Do you think this is an issue that needs to be dealt with?

  2. 1. Is this decision moving to Caucuses model final or could be revisited in result of NO Core staff meetings?

    2. Does this process foresee restructuring in other units beside the support functions?

    3. Don’t you think that cost cutting could be done at each NO by analyzing the existing structures?

  3. 1. Given the recent developments, especially the frequently taking place restructuring (leaving the perception of being chaotic, not always justified), is there any evidence of non-effectiveness the previous models and the need for moving to a new model?
    2. Given the fact that participatory decision making is a concept we often refer to in our operational aproaches, can we expect that the decision can be modified as a result of these meetings or is the decision final?
    3. How is the leadership of the organization going to handle the human resource reduction implications the process will bring about?

  4. 1. is there an analysis in place to show how restructuring vs re-organization of the work of employees can help to cut expenses?..did anyone looked at figures reflecting internatonal travelling costs of WV Staff worldwide before undertaking the restructing process in its offices?
    2. in your opinion how the restructuring of high-capacity and high-performance offices shall be different from other less successfull offices? is cuttng the number of the staff is an ultimate good decision to solve monetary deficit?

With regard to the upcoming changes, where do you see the role of the Child Development Foundation and what are the overall plans regarding the structure founded by WVI, which according to the purpose defined it’s charter and considering current realities of Armenia and other countries in the Region needs constant financial support?
